For more than 20 years, Swiss apostolic leader Michel von Allmen was leading national and regional initiatives in church planting, church growth, evangelism and spiritual warfare, even co-founding a TV ministry. But then things happened that seemingly set Michel & Sally back. But now they are definitively on track for Switzerland and Europe!Michel von Allmen (photo: Jan-Aage Torp)
In a beautiful Francophone, Swiss village lies the refurbished old house where the von Allmen family resides. Michel & Sally have been together since their Bible school years at International Bible Training Institute (IBTI) in England in 1978-80. It was love and calling, almost at first sight. Sally came all the way from Johannesburg, South Africa, and in 1981 she started the successful task of becoming a French-speaking Swiss housewife and co-pastor. Their passion for world missions has never diminished, and has lead Michel to serve in different nations and also bringing Sally on prayer journeys to places like China, Turkey, Egypt and other places.SWitzerland
Now their daughters Lysa (26) and Felicia (21) are grown, but still very close to mom and dad. Lysa is passionately pursuing a future in film production, and Felicia goes in a few days for training at a Youth With A Mission DTS in New Zealand.
But since Michel von Allmen quit his last pastorate in the Fribourg area in 2000, the von Allmen´s developed a growing business and school center not far from Geneva, Neuchatel, Lausanne. This has given them a strong financial base for their mandate to train and send 5-fold ministers into worldwide missions.
