Recognizing seasons, times, phases, trends of history and how they impact us for the long term

Moments in History 104The world is thus in a transition  but also in the Church. Even worldly people know or feel it.

1 Chronicles 12:32 "Of the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their kinsmen were at their command".

The Church not only has a part to play in it, but it is an integral part of God's plan to serve the world, to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, to demonstrate it by signs and wonders and declare to the world that Christ is coming and while doing that, apply ourselves not to look for easy escapes, but to tackle head-on the need to bring the “added value” we have received, who is Christ and the blessed hope for the coming Kingdom and thus bring change to our societies.

This transition includes the New Apostolic Reformation to help serve, train,  assist the Church in its ministry to the world.

The apostolic ministry is being restored to the Church in different shades and flavors as well as different levels of capacity, accuracy and pertinence, not because it was someone's great idea! The bad may come with the good, the chaff with the grain, but let's embrace this work of God.

The apostolic ministry is being restored and given back by Christ the head of the Body, because the Church at large just cannot think of entering the new phase of God's plan for the world without the practical input and recognition of the ministry of apostles together with the  prophetic ministry,  it was never meant to live without !

The true ministry of apostles is going to be discovered out of sheer necessity, just as new leaders, heroes are made, reveal themselves and come to the fore in the midst of battles and then become captains; if they did not have the ranks, titles or recognition before, circumstances will thrust them forward.

The same with Apostles; they are vital and foremost to challenge the status quo, to establish beach-heads in enemy territory, to making preparations, building foundations and bridges which had been lacking in the Church, to resist and fight lies and misconceptions, to call for and implement righteousness and a new order where sin has abounded;  apostles are powerhouses on 2 legs and are  vital for vision casting, daring to do what is really needed and required, to go where others tread to go, to say and do what others tread to do, in order to prepare for a future no one even dreams about! That is the task of pioneers and only those called to it, can tackle it.

But for goodness' sake, let them come to the fore and be who they are to do what they are meant to do ! Let all the shackles that hold them back, whether, traditions, false teachings, failures, fears, systems, wrong models and devils, let all these hindrances be shattered at the feet of the Champion of God, Christ the Messiah who has been sent to conquer and overcome.

Revelation 19:11 "And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war".

The Church may well have to come to repent for having wanted to do the work of the ministry without this ministry-gift of Christ in place and full action and will come to the point of realizing that without this kind of servant-leaders leading the works and operations of the Church, all that would be left is just churning over the same old religious stuff.

Apostles are given to the Body, neither to abuse it nor to take advantage of it, nor to just be an onlooker figurant of the battle but to take action and assume responsibility with the other ministries.

Hebrews 12:25-29 "See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven. And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.” This expression, “Yet once more,” denotes the removing of those things which can be shaken, as of created things, so that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe; for our God is a consuming fire".
